The duo Cantarpa stands for the creation of excellent and interactive concert formats.

Together, Natascha Ziegler (harp) and Luzia Ernst (vocals) create cross-genre and interactive concert formats that go far beyond classical song literature. The duo is not interested in mere rendition, but in a personal narration of stories and their constant change and development in dialogue with their audience. This active involvement makes every concert evening with the duo unique.

To this end, the young professional musicians explore the varied possibilities that open up for harp and voice in the field of song, be it an extended repertoire or the flexible use of a wide variety of spaces. In doing so, the artists consciously transcend supposed boundaries.

Duo Cantarpa has been performing throughout Germany since 2019, delighting audiences. The self-created formats have taken the duo to a wide variety of stages and festivals, such as the Heidelberger Frühling, the Schumannhaus Leipzig and the KonzertGut Braunschweig. In 2023, they won 2nd prize in the ‘Moderation & Concert’ competition organised by the Förderkreis Isenbügel.
